13th FEBRUARY 2025, DUBLIN, IE – Wayflyer, the leading financing company for consumer brands, today announced the appointment of Victor Tuson Palau, as its first Chief Technology Officer. The hire underscores Wayflyer’s investment in the development of a world-class engineering function to support the business in its next phase of growth.

“From application to funding, technology underpins a seamless experience for our customers,” said Aidan Corbett, CEO & Founder of Wayflyer. “I’m delighted to welcome Victor to the business. He brings a wealth of technical and leadership expertise supporting high-growth startups. I look forward to working closely with him as we rapidly expand operations and evolve into a true multi-product business.”

Victor joins the business from investment platform, Bitpanda, where he led the 250-strong product and technology functions through international expansion. In a career spanning over two decades, Victor has also held a number of senior leadership positions at Ebury, Bitnami and Canonical. He also co-founded his own sustainability startup, Greengame, which sought to incentivise the mass-adoption of sustainable behaviour.

“Wayflyer has seen phenomenal growth, and technology will be key to sustaining and accelerating that momentum on the next stage of its growth journey,” commented Victor Tuson Palau, Chief Technology Officer at Wayflyer. “I’m proud to serve as their first CTO and help scale the platform, drive product innovation, and work alongside the talented & ambitious teams to further transform how consumer brands access and manage their finances”.

Victor is the latest addition to the Wayflyer senior leadership team, which has expanded considerably over the last 24 months. This comes as the business expanded outside its core eCommerce segment in 2024, to serve wholesale businesses.
