He co-founded the company in 2019 to help fast-growing businesses access the working capital needed to scale. Aidan is the CEO and Co-Founder of Wayflyer. A business he co-founded in 2019 to support fast-growing consumer brands get access to the working capital required to scale. Wayflyer has since funded thousands of businesses, with billions of dollars in short-term financing. A serial entrepreneur, Aidan also founded a data analytics company, Conjura, where he first encountered the challenges direct-to-consumer brands faced managing cashflow as they scaled. He also bootstrapped a software training platform, Kubicle. Prior to starting his entrepreneurial journey, he held positions at Management Consultancy, McKinsey, Green infrastructure investors, NTR, and the Irish Civil Service. Aidan lives in Dublin, Ireland with his family. He holds a Master's in Business from the London Business School and a BE in Electrical Engineering from University College Cork. With over 30 years of experience in financial leadership, John has played pivotal roles in scaling businesses, driving operational efficiency, and leading successful fundraising and acquisition processes. Prior to joining Wayflyer, John spent the best part of twenty years as senior finance leader for Silicon Valley's tech companies. John has served as CFO for SaaS business Trifacta, and took a leading role in its acquisition by Alteryx. He has also held senior leadership positions at ARM Holdings, Console Connect and Euclid. John is based in Wayflyer's headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and holds a Bachelors degree in Economics & Accounting from the University of Manchester. Deirdre MacCarthy is the Chief Legal Officer and Head of People at Wayflyer. With over two decades of experience advising high-growth technology companies and entrepreneurs on matters of corporate law, Deirdre has been instrumental in Wayflyer's continued expansion. She initially served as external counsel to Wayflyer before officially joining the company in early 2022, as Chief Legal Officer. Later that year she took on an additional role as Head of People, fusing her legal expertise with a passion for hiring, developing and nurturing high-performing talent. Prior to joining Wayflyer, Deirdre specialised in supporting venture and private equity backed companies as they scaled. Serving as trusted counsel for entrepreneurs and leaders of fast-growing businesses, she predominantly focused on investments, M+A and general day-to-day requirements of clients in the respected legal firms of Maples Group, ByrneWallace, and Arthur Cox. Deirdre is based in Wayflyer's headquarters in Dublin, Ireland. She holds an LLB from Trinity College, Dublin and is a qualified solicitor. Sharing our passion for solving this problem, their founder later joined our team. ### 2020 — U.S. launch We expanded into the United States, which would quickly become our largest market. ### 2021 — $76m Series A We raised $76m in our Series A round from leading investors who've also funded companies like Stripe, Brex and Revolut. ### 2022 — $150m Series B We raised a further $150m in our Series B to expand our geographic footprint and broaden our financing offerings. ### 2022 — $300m debt facility We signed our first major warehouse line with J.P.
